UNIFEN B17 is a new generation CO2 cured core binder. By reaching higher
strengths in a short period of time during the gassing stage, cores can be made with lower
resin addition ratios and shorter gassing times.
High strength and high resistance to humidity outputs higher production figures and
lower scrape core ratios.
Because of its high resistance to humidity, water based refractory coatings may be
used in addition to alcohol based refractory coatings.
Materials can be packed in steel drums and plastic IBC’s.
